Application submitted by the third Monday will be reviewed by the membership committee on the third Wednesday. Applicants can expect to receive an official notification regarding their status by the third Friday.
Executive Members are accomplished Black women leaders whose experience, impact, and influence reflect sustained leadership at the highest levels. As CEOs, C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, and leaders across sectors, they bring the vision, relationships, and decision-making authority to cultivate strategic alliances, expand access, and create legacy pathways for current and future generations of Black women.
Tenure
15+ years of leadership experience.
Impact
Roles with significant scope and responsibility, with demonstrated results in leading organizations, teams, initiatives, or institutions.
Influence
Established influence through board service, thought leadership platforms, keynote engagements, industry recognition, or other meaningful contributions to their field and community.
Affiliate Members are rising Black women leaders, age 45 and under, who demonstrate meaningful achievement, growing influence, and the potential to advance into executive leadership. Through S.E.A.T., they build strategic relationships, contribute their expertise and perspectives, and gain access to a community that supports their leadership growth and long-term impact.
Age
45 and under at the time of admission.
Leadership trajectory
A demonstrated record of increasing leadership responsibility as a professional, entrepreneur, or community leader, with a clear commitment to continued advancement.
Impact
Meaningful results through leading teams, building businesses, advancing initiatives, or creating positive change within their organization or community.
Influence
Growing visibility and credibility through professional networks, board or committee service, speaking engagements, thought leadership, or community involvement.
Commitment
A willingness to actively contribute to S.E.A.T., cultivate reciprocal relationships, and help expand access and opportunity for other Black women.
Participation in a S.E.A.T. Executive Exchange, information session and S.E.A.T. Supper is a mandatory prerequisite for all applicants.

No. In order to qualify for membership, applicants must meet the criteria in one or more of the following categories:

Our membership process is intentional and streamlined, beginning with a member nomination and attendance at an Executive Exchange, followed by a Zoom information session. Prospective members may then complete the application and submit the $125 application fee. Select applicants are invited to a S.E.A.T. Supper, after which applications are presented to the Membership Review Board for final selection. Invitations to membership are then extended, and new members are welcomed through New Member Induction.
We operate on a structured Monthly Application Review Schedule to ensure every candidate receives timely feedback. To be considered for the current month, please ensure your application is submitted by the third Monday. Our membership committee conducts formal reviews on the third Wednesday, and you can expect to receive an official notification regarding your status by the third Friday of that same week.
Applications received after the monthly deadline will automatically be included in the following month's review cycle.

Because the S.E.A.T. Supper is designed to foster intimate and meaningful connections, attendance is by invitation only.
